The beginnings of Fagtor

Fagtor is a locally owned company headquartered in Bombal, in the south of Santa Fe Province, Argentina. Founded in 1976 by Juan Ortolani and Manuel Pedro Torres, it began as a repair workshop for the agricultural sector, equipped with versatile tools for all types of maintenance work.

Over the years, the business evolved: staff was added, serial production for agricultural machinery manufacturers began, and infrastructure expanded with new machine tools. Today, Fagtor preserves its family essence with the incorporation of the Torres family’s next generation, who lead key areas of the organization.

A globalized world encouraged us to explore new markets. We participate in international trade shows, conduct product testing, and adapt designs to meet the requirements of each region. After years of dedication, we achieved our first gearbox exports to the United States and Brazil.

Today, we continue to expand our reach, with products present on all five continents, thanks to our collaboration with leading Argentine agricultural machinery manufacturers—an achievement that reflects our commitment to excellence.
